Why learn German?

The German language is the language of music, of arts and culture in general. It is the language of Ludwig van Beethoven, Albert Einstein, Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Johann Sebastian Bach. Germany is well-known for its universities, in case someone wants to begin or continue their studies in Economics, Medicine, Telecommunications, Engineering, Arts and Music. A good command of German is also important for those who want to experience the Erasmus programs in a German university or to apply for a job position in the German job market.

G3 (for 12-13 year-old teenagers )

In this class, the students will have the opportunity to set the foundations for their preparation for the B1 certificate (Zertifikat Deutsch) of the Goethe Institut, while at the same time they will expand their skills in oral expression, listening comprehension, reading and written expression.

G4 for 13-14 year-old teenagers)

In this class, the students complete their preparation for the B1 certificate (Zertifikat Deutsch) of the Goethe Institut, having acquired the appropriate skills in oral expression, listening comprehension, reading and written expression.

B2 Level (for 14-15 year-old teenagers)

In this level, the students can comprehend a wide range of texts, short and long, e.g. texts with scientific information on a subject. The students can clearly state their opinion on complex subjects, both in oral and written form. This class leads to the Goethe–Zertifikat Β2 certificate.

C1-C2 Levels

In these levels, the students assimilate more complex language structures. They can express themselves orally in a variety of situations and they can produce high-level written texts, as they focus on more detailed grammar and syntax phenomena and on demanding vocabulary.
As the German language is inherently difficult, the C1 & C2 level preparation is offered only in one-to-one lessons for teenagers.
